Kasim's October gigs
My plans are coming together for Kasim's October gigs but I wish they would hurry up and book them all so that I can book my flights.
I've just booked my ticket for Kasim's solo gig in Chicago on Friday 16th October! It was $24 with all the charges so I save one dollar on buying at the door but at least I know I'll get in okay!
We have a table booked at Wilbert's in Cleveland for 7.30pm (Kasim's show starts at 9pm) as I was told that was the best way to get a decent view and I bought a ticket for Micho's in Reisterstown, MD ages ago when the gig was first announced. Unfortunately they've changed the date from 30th to 9th October which is a pain for me as I already had plans for that night but a Kasim Sulton solo gig take precedence!
As the first Todd Rundgren gig is on Long Island the night after Kasim's gig in Cleveland, it looks likely that I'm going to opt to drive back to the East Coast and see that gig before flying home the next day. I may have to do that anyway to return my hire car. Unfortunately that would mean that I'll will have to make that drive from Chicago to Cleveland again (which I've done so many times before and is quite boring) and I was hoping to avoid that by flying instead, especially as I can get a flight for less than $50 - it'll cost me more than that in tolls and petrol!
