Travels to see Kasim

This is my online diary of my trips to see Kasim.
I'm really writing this diary for (a) myself and (b) my friends but I know that other people will hit it too so feel free to browse around! Just remember that this is the way that I choose to live part of my life - I don't make judgements on the way your live your life so kindly show me the same respect.

Tickets for Warwick Castle for sale

My extra set of tickets for Warwick Castle are up on E-Bay at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6528589314 I've only added 2 (as I thought they would sell better than 1) but I've added an option for someone to buy the extra ticket. If they don't want it then I'll add the single seat some other time. My starting price was cost + £10 to cover the E-Bay fees.

I have one bid so far too!

Finland???

Paul Crook's official website now lists a gig in Finland on 22nd July! Finland is a country I've not seen Kasim in so I'll go to that but Switzerland to Finland is one heck of a drive! I hope the Kasmobile is up to it! (I hope I'm up to it!) MapQuest doesn't even list Finland!

Plans (or lack thereof!)

My Blickling Hall (Norfolk) tickets arrived today. Well, they arrived a couple of days ago but I didn't get a chance to collect them until today.
Also my Hamburg ticket has arrived.
Also someone on MLUKFC PM'ed me to say that they have a spare Belfast ticket so I can buy it off them - that saves me having to deal with that dreadful TicketMaster!
I really must get organised with booking flights and accommodation soon. So far I have nothing booked!
Other than buying tickets, the only thing I've done so far is to print off directions to Kasim's solo gig from the concert the night before!

Danish Festival

Booking the Skive Beach Party festival was far easier than I expected!
Ankie posted a link to the ticket site and thankfully there was an English translation page there so I bought a ticket for 450 Danish Kroners (I don't know how much that translates to) which they'll mail to me.
I wonder if Kasim will wear his swimming trunks at that gig?!!

Front row at Zurich!!

We've got front row tickets for the Zurich concert....twice now!! Right in front of Kasim too!!
I had a message yesterday from a friend to say that she's got us what she thought was front row tickets. Then today the official fan club must have released their allocation of seats that were in the proper front row (as they aren't running the packages at the festivals) so now we have seats in the real front row!!
It's going to make the drive from Liverpool to Zurich REALLY worthwhile now!! I have to drive almost the length of England, catch a boat to France and then drive through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Luxembourg to get to Switzerland! It'll be worth it though to end the tour in brilliant seats at a proper concert (although it's called a festival)!!

Beau Rivage

The Beau Rivage website said that the tickets would go on sale today but no time was stated. It did say that the Box Office opened at 10.00am but as that was Central Time and US haven't changed their clocks yet, that made it 5.00pm my time. I was due to start work at 4.30pm but I let them know that I'd be coming in late.
I kept pressing the refresh button at 5.00pm but the link didn't become live so I rang the casino. Eventually I got through and she said that tickets wouldn't go on sale until noon their time which was 7.00pm!
Thankfully I managed to arrange for a friend to make the call for me but when she rang five minutes before they were due to be sold, she was told that all the floor seats were on hold (presumably for their high rollers) and could only get me one a couple of rows back in the next block! Apparently this block is slightly raised and certainly if I see any empty seats on the floor, then I'll be moving!
